Wearing red on your wedding day is a timeless tradition—but that doesn’t mean your wedding has to look like everyone else’s. When Mehwish came to us at Afrin Designs, she had one goal in mind: to fully embrace her vibrant red bridal outfit while still making the overall event feel modern, romantic, and completely her own.

The key? Contrast.

Instead of matching the decor to her outfit, Mehwish made a bold style move—choosing a neutral palette of gold and black for her stage and tablescape, accented with soft pastel florals. This unexpected combination allowed her red lehenga to truly shine while the rest of the space whispered elegance and sophistication.

We designed a stunning stage featuring soft floral arches layered over gold lattice panels, flanked by twinkling chandeliers that gave the whole scene a dreamy, regal vibe. The muted decor became the perfect backdrop—never competing with her look, but rather elevating it.

The tables were just as intentional. Lush pastel centerpieces, crystal candelabras, and the warm flicker of candlelight created an intimate ambiance that added depth and romance to the evening. Every element—from the florals to the lighting—was carefully chosen to frame Mehwish’s red outfit as the star of the show.

So if you're a bride who’s planning to wear red but still wants your wedding to feel fresh and unique—take a note from Mehwish: sometimes, it’s not about matching everything… it’s about letting yourself stand out.

We are so grateful to Mehwish & Usama for entrusting us with their special day and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
